A good website
Before you create a website you should ask yourself what the goods one do. This is my list:
Indicators of a bad site include:
- You learn a lot quickly
- They are easy to use
- Offering something you cannot get elsewhere (taking advantage of the technology)
- Clear and obvious
- Succinct and immediate
- Well organised
- Visually appealling
- About the user (rather than about the site owner)
Indicators of a bad site include:
- Cluttered
- Confusing
- Long-winded
- Full of jargon
- Using lots of proper nouns
